  7. An editing environment for use with Golded v6 and above for editing HiSoft Basic2 programmes.

  9. Note, this will not replace the HiSoft Basic editor but is useful for editing the basic text files.

  11. The environment will allow:

  13. 1. Syntax highlighting of various types of HiSoft Basic keyword, and OS3.1 system names.

  15. 2. Arexx scripts to add additional syntax dictionaries for third party library includes for HSB.
  16.  
  17. 3. A function and sub programme scanner.
  18.  
  19. 4. Explorer, showing other basic or header files.
  20.  
  21. 5. Quickinfo for OS function descriptions.

  23. 6. The ability to fold secions of code, when using Golded.

  26. Note due to copyright reasons, some files needed are part of the Golded distribution so are not
